Abstract

The present Regulation enacts section 24 of the Geothermal Resources Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to administrative aspects of the exploration of geothermal resources. The text consists of 16 sections as follows: Interpretation (1); Test hole programme authorizations (2); Repealed (3); Well authorizations (4); Amendments to well authorizations (5); Suspension or revocation (6); Well register (7); Drilling deposits (8); Permits (9); Multiple locations (10); Excess work (11); Renewal of permit (12); Leases (13); Development of a geothermal resource (14); Production of a geothermal resource (15); Miscellaneous fees (16). Three Schedules are enclosed.
