Abstract

These Regulations implement provisions of the Geographical Indications Act with respect to registration and protection of geographical indications. The Regulations, among other things, define procedures and set out forms for registration, provide for the invalidation of misleading marks and concern procedural requirements related to registration including a hearing of a person adversely affected by a decision of the Controller of the Intellectual Property Office.
