In accordance new subsection (2) of Section 19 of the principal Act, hereinafter the period of registration of a geographical indication shall be of ten years. The registration shall be renewable upon application as per new Section 19A. On the other hand, new section 19B regulates the restoration of a geographical indication that has been removed from the Register.
