Abstract

The present Regulations enact the Natural Areas Protection Act. In particular, section 2 establishes that the purpose of creating natural areas is to conserve for posterity the aesthetic, scenic and natural character and condition of ecosystems, and to prevent their exploitation for commercial purposes. The text – consisting of 9 sections – deals, amongst others, with the following aspects: activities prohibited in natural area, exception, activity pursuant to management plan, activity pursuant to authorization, terms and conditions and report.
