Abstract

These Regulations, surviving the under Animal Health Act, provide with respect to the protection of health of animals in Namibia and, more specifically control the movement of animals and animal products in Namibia, including also the introduction of animals and infectious things. They define duties of owners of animals and state veterinarians for purposes of controlling diseases affecting animals. Specific measures and rules are made for African Swine Fever, Bovine Tuberculosis, Foot And Mouth Disease, Bont Tick and Brucellosis.
