Under section 5, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Aquaculture may enter any premises where live poultry, poultry equipment in use or hatching eggs are kept or housed for the purpose of inspection for contagious diseases and may order the destruction, segregation or other disposal of live poultry, poultry equipment or hatching eggs infected with a contagious disease, without compensation to the owner thereof.
