The purpose of this Act is to establish the general conditions of and procedure for exercising the freedom of economic activity, including to regulate the commencement, pursuit, termination and resumption of economic activities, the maintenance of a register, state supervision and liability. Economic activity is any permanent activity which is pursued independently to generate income and which is not prohibited pursuant to law. If a notification or authorisation obligation has been established in respect of an activity, the activity is deemed to be an economic activity even if generating income is not its purpose.
