Abstract These Rules provide for the process of certification of authorization. The Rules state that any person or body of persons desirous of being authorised to grade and mark an article under the provisions of the Agricultural Produce (Grading and Marking) Act of 1937 shall apply to the Agricultural Marketing Adviser or any other officer of the Central or State Government authorised by the Agricultural Marketing Adviser. The Rules also mention the criteria for the approval by the Agricultural Marketing Adviser of testing laboratories and chemists appointed for grading and marking of articles.
