Abstract

This Regulation implements the Gene Technology Act 2001. Part 3 is dedicated to dealings and related permit and certification procedures. Part 4 is dedicated to the gene technology advisory committee, Part 5 to the gene technology consultative committee and Part 6 to the gene technology ethics committee. The regulation is completed by five schedules: organisms that are not genetically modified organisms, dealings exempt from licensing, notifiable low risk dealings in relation to a GMO, prescribed information for application for a licence and dictionary.
