Abstract These Regulations, made under section 118 of the Gas Safety Act 1997 and consisting of 49 sections divided into seven Parts, provide for the following matters: safety cases in relation to facilities, gas installations and appliances; the reporting of gas incidents; and the safety standards for the quality of gas and the testing of natural gas conveyed through a transmission pipeline.
