Abstract This Act is drafted with the aim to increase the resilience of the economy by reducing dependence on Russian natural gas. The Act provides for allocation of fund for diversifying the procurement of natural gas and for converting plants to alternative operation using other energy sources. The fund shall be allocated for the companies that would supply and use natural gas from non-Russian sources. The Federal Minister for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology shall issue the guideline for further regulations with regard to the procedure, amount of fund, and reclaiming the promised fund.
