The present Regulation comes into force on 22 May 2003.
Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Gas Distribution Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down detailed provisions relating to terms and conditions under which a gas distributor may sell or offer to sell gas. Section 5 establishes that a Gas Purchasing Plan shall state the principles that will govern how a gas distributor will purchase gas for sale to customers and shall include: a) an estimate of customer gas requirements, b) a plan for procuring gas, and c) pricing strategies.
