This Law enters into force 90 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Law consisting of 11 articles aims at providing rules for wild animal and birds hunting. It establishes that (i) hunting is prohibited without obtaining a license from the National Commission for Wildlife Conservation and Development; (ii) it is not permissible to hunt inside cities and villages, or in banned places and times, or by prohibited means; (iii) in order to protect and develop wildlife, the Commission may prohibit the hunting of certain species of animals or birds; and (iv) responsible for controlling violators of this Law is the Ministry of the Interior.
