Abstract

This Act defines criteria and conditions for and provides for procedures to be followed for the granting public funds for compensating damages caused by game animals and for prevention of damages. The Act defines the kind of damages to arable land, horticulture land, nursery plantations, harvested crop, forestry, livestock, reindeers, etc. and who may benefit from compensation. It also provides for notification and assessment of damages, the application for and payment of compensation and repayment and recovery of compensation.
