The Act defines the kind of damages to arable land, horticulture land, nursery plantations, harvested crop, forestry, livestock, reindeers, etc. and who may benefit from compensation. It also provides for notification and assessment of damages, the application for and payment of compensation and repayment and recovery of compensation.
