Abstract

This Regulation provides for the following matters— (a) the types of game hunting licence (standard hunting licence, visitor’s hunting licence, hunting guide licence, commercial hunter’s licence and professional hunter’s licence), (b) the approval of training for eligibility for a game hunting licence and the accreditation of persons, clubs and associations to conduct training, (c) restrictions on the granting of game hunting licences, (d) machinery matters for licences, including applications, duration of licences and grounds for refusal of a licence, (e) the giving of notice of the proposed declaration of public hunting land, (f) the conditions of game hunting licences, including conditions relating to native game birds, (g) the prescription of fees for licences, (h) penalty notice offences and their penalties.
