Under Part 2, the Game Council of New South Wales is established and regulated as the body responsible for the administration of the Act. Part 3 provides for licensing and control of hunting for game animals, defines classes of hunting licences and prescribes application and granting procedures. Part 4 deals with inspections and investigations and spells out the duties and powers of inspectors, including the right of entry and the power of seizure. Under section 54, provisions of this Act do not affect the operation of the Native Title Act 1993 of the Commonwealth or the Native Title (New South Wales) Act 1994 in respect of the recognition of native title rights and interests within the meaning of the Commonwealth Act or in any other respect.
