The present Regulations enter into force on 31 July 1991.
Abstract

The present Regulations enact the Animal Products Act. Section 3 establishes that no person shall: a) establish or operate a fur farm; or b) trade fur animals or fur animal products; unless the person holds a licence. Section 4 outlines the application procedures for obtaining such a licence. The text consists of 17 sections as follows: Title (1); Interpretation (2); Licence required (3); Application (4); Issuance (5); Expiry and renewal (6); Suspension or cancellation (7); Obtaining fur animals (8); Escape from captivity (9); Import and export (10); Report of dead and diseased animals (11); Named diseases (12); Quarantine and destruction of diseased animals (13); Care and handling (14); Enclosures (15); Inspection (16); Records (17).
