Abstract

These Regulations implement the provisions laid down in European Union Directive 2001/113/EC concerning fruit jams, jellies and marmalades and sweetened chestnut purée intended for human consumption. Regulation 4 specifies the information to be shown in the labels. As regards additives, only the ingredients listed in the Second Schedule and raw materials complying with the requirements specified in the Third Schedule may be used.
