According to this Act, "fruit" includes vegetables, trees, plants, shrubs and roots, and the unmanufactured products of trees, plants, shrubs and roots. This Act sets forth provisions on the fruit inspections at all stages, powers of inspectors, restrictions on export of certain fruit and banana, and licensing for fruit export. The Minister may make regulations for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Act.
