Abstract

The purpose of this Act is to validate certain customs duty orders relating to fresh fruits and vegetables. Under this Act, orders made in respect of imported fresh fruits and vegetables pursuant to paragraph 15(1)(a) of the Customs Tariff between January 1, 1972 and January 10, 1985 are declared to have been validly made and any customs duties collected on such fruits and vegetables pursuant to those orders are declared to have been validly collected.
