Abstract

The present Regulation enacts section 108 of the Wildlife Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to freshwater fish. Section 2 establishes that a person commits an offence if in possession, transports, or traffics in live fish unless authorized by a permit or a licence. However, a regional manager or a person authorized by a regional manager may issue a permit in accordance with this regulation on the terms and for the period he or she deems appropriate. The text consists of 4 sections.
