Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Council Directive 78/659/EEC on the quality of fresh waters needing protection or improvement in order to support fish life. The text consists of 6 articles as follows: Purpose of Ordinance (1); Sphere of application, definition of terms (2); Quality requirements, requirements for use of water (3); Admitted exceptions (4); Sampling and analyses proceedings, monitoring (5); Entry into force (6). Two Annexes are enclosed.
