The Act concerns right to access information; the disclosure of information; the role of public bodies; procedure for requesting information; communication of information and related fees; measures to promote openness and good practices; public bodies’ duty to publish key information on certain topics; exceptions including: commercial and confidential information, personal information, health and medical files, information related to law enforcement, security, sustainable development, environmental protection, financial interests; appointment of commissioners and specification of their functions; whistle-blowers role, in case of corruption and other misconducts; criminal responsibility.
