Measures include: notification of (suspected) disease; investigations by the Veterinary Officer of the Agricultural Department; restrictions on the movement of poultry, eggs, etc.; disposal of animals and carcases; and cleansing and disinfection. The Regulations set out rules that apply to places where there is a certified (suspected) outbreak of the disease.
