The environmental risk assessment shall describe 1. how a dam failure is may occur, 2. which areas may be flooded in case of a dam accident, and 3. what can be possibly damaged in the areas that would be flooded in case of a dam failure. The risk assessment shall be submitted to the supervisory authority together with the dam classification according to the Environmental Code. The Decree also concerns the security management system and the procedures for self-control.
