This Act provides for the preservation of foodstuff from any unauthorized purposes, which may cause diseases and disorders because of the excessive and unnecessary use of formalin. Provisions establish that no person may keep or possess formalin without a licence for import, production, transportation, storage, sale or use, issued by the competent authority entitled to control the import and production of formalin.
