Abstract

This Act creates the "Forests' National Corporation", defining its duties and responsibilities, as well as administrative matters. Supervised by the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources, its purpose is essentially to develop national policy and propose laws on forest conservation, development and management. It is also responsible for technical supervision of all forests (art. 4). Remaining provisions: Management of the Corporation (chap. 3); Transfer of property (chap. 4).
