Abstract

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the revitalization of forests. The Act contains at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed, such as "group of licences", "licence", "timber licence", "ungrouped licence". The text consists of 13 section of which the most important ones are: Harvesting rights reduced for timber licences and other licences (5); Compensation (6); Limit on compensation (7); Act to be given effect (8); Appropriation for compensation (9); BC Forestry Revitalization Trust (10).
