Abstract

This Order repeals the Forestry (Restriction on the Felling of Sandalwood) Order No. 84 of 1999, which placed a ten-year ban on the felling of sandalwood on a specified Island and prohibits throughout Vanuatu the felling of a sandalwood tree for sale that is less than 15 centimetres diameter measured over bark on the main stem at a point 50 centimetres above the ground.
