Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Forest Act. The Regulation lays down provisions relating to protection against wildfires by prescribing forestry licences. In particular, section 2 establishes that the regional manager or district manager may enter into a forestry licence to cut under which harvesting is restricted. Also harvesting timber within a controlled recreation area is prescribed by section 3. Four sections are established.
