Abstract

These Regulations insert new sub-regulation 36A into the Forestry Regulations 2014 regarding the power of the Minister to reduce fees for royalties, permits and licenses where a hurricane, tornado or any other natural disaster has occurred in any island, islet or cay throughout The Bahamas which causes grave damage to any forest produce or non-forest produce in any designated forest, forest estate, forest reserve, conservation forest or protected forest. These Regulations further make amendments in the Second Schedule by inserting new schedule on Regulation 36(3A) on royalties and fees for gravely damaged forest produce or non-forest produce.
