Abstract These Regulations implement certain provisions of the Forestry Agency Act (1169/93). They provide for the administration of the Agency, national property in administration of the Agency, fixing of prices for certain services of the Agency, delegated local committees of the Agency, and protection of the culture of the Lapps. Section 2 specifies tasks of the Board of Directors. Section 5 specifies tasks which the Agency shall handle. Section 8 lists the areas which shall be property of the Agency including nature protection areas established under the Nature Protection Act (71/23). Section 10 outlines the tasks of local delegated committees which shall be composed of persons representing various interest groupings which shall provide advice to the Agency and protect interests of the local population.
