Abstract

This Act concerns the creation and management of State forests in South Australia. It contains provisions on the procedure for the declaration of forest reserves and of native forest reserves (Part 2), defines the powers and functions of forest wardens (Part 3), regulates the management of forests and the disposal of forest products, including planting and milling of timber and timber sales (Part 4) and it contains provisions on the prevention of forest fires (sect. 17).
