Abstract

The present Regulation lays down provisions relating to the use and management of forests. The text deals with the following matters: closed zones, restricted zones, general conditions governing timber cutting, forest management licences, timber sales, timber permits, scaling, measuring and accounting, sawmill and luber planer licences, timber dealer licences, scaler licences, Crown charges, timber seizures, provincial forests, grazing of cattle, cutting and disposal of hay, etc. The Regulation consists of 79 sections and 8 Schedules.
