Abstract

These Regulations amend the Forest Resources and Timber Utilisation (Timber Licensing and Tree Felling) Regulations in regulation 7 in relation with a forest licence performance bond as one of the conditions for the granting of a licence to fell trees. The bond shall be issued by a locally operated commercial bank in favour of the Forestry Division of Solomon on account of the licensee. The performance bond is to cover the entire period of the licence.
