Abstract

The present Act sets provisions to secure the protection of forests originally in Northwest Territories, and subsequently adapted by the Territory of Nunavut. It covers the extinguishment of fires, clearance, fires to clear land, fires in engines, the administration of the Act by forest officers, enforcement and offences and penalties. The text consists of 28 sections.
