Abstract The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the organization of the public forest administration. Article 1 lists offices and institutes to be established within the State Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry – Forest Administration. Article 2 establishes that the Institute of Forestry (Regional Office) has the task to promote forests and timber industry through research activities, to study the ecological relationship between forests and environment, and to ensure the transfer of new knowledge to the forestry industry and the public in general.
