Abstract

This Forest (Emissions) Reference Level (FREL) Action Plan for Myanmar 2015 is a nationwide sectoral policy document for the period of four years. The Plan has been developed in the framework of the FAO component of the UNREDD targeted support for Myanmar. The objective of the Plan is: The FRELs in Myanmar will be developed in a way useful for domestic and global purposes and fulfill the requirements for potential REDD+ payments according to UNFCCC and potential funding mechanisms (GCF, WB-forest carbon fund).
