Abstract

The purpose of this Act is to preserve forests in a sustainable manner and thereby contribute to the development of the State and society and the improvement of the quality of life of citizens by providing for matters necessary for the promotion of forest education to ensure that citizens acquire correct knowledge of forests and develop a proper sense of their value. Article 6 establishes the Forest Education Council. Article 7 deals with the designation of institutions for training forest education specialists. An organization "Green Rangers" shall be established to assist the youth in cultivating an adequate understanding of forests and affection for forests (art.16).
