Measures include: notification and certification of (suspected) disease; investigations by inspectors; restrictions on the movement of animals and materials in contact with animals; disposal of carcases; cleansing and disinfection; and sterilization of milk to be used as feed for animals. The Regulations set out rules that apply to places where there is a certified (suspected) outbreak of the disease.
