Abstract

This Notice of the Minister of Health, made under section 15 of the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act, 1972, prescribe new sodium levels for food offered for sale listed this Notice, including bread, breakfast cereals, fat and butter spreads, snacks, processed meat, and soup and stock preparations. The Notice also defines the methodology of testing for total sodium content in those foods.
