Entry into force notes
The Present Ordinance has entered into force on 30 October 1999.
Abstract

The present Ordinance concerns the labelling of foodstuffs to be delivered as such to the ultimate consumer as well as their presentation and advertising. The said Ordinance consists of 10 articles of which the most important ones are: Data to be included on labels (3); Trade names (4); Definition of "ingredient" (5); List of ingredients (6); Expiry date (7); Alcohol content (7b); Quantity of ingredients (8). Three annexes are enclosed.
