Entry into force notes
The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 June 2000.
Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Federal Swiss Act of 9 October 1992 on foodstuff and objects of daily use and the Federal Agriculture Act of 29 April 1998. The purpose of the present Ordinance is to regulate the control of foodstuff. The text consists of 17 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Organization and implementation (II); Implementation provisions and administrative measures (III); Legal remedies and procedure (IV); Final provisions (V).
