Abstract

These Regulations bring new potatoes within the scope of the Food Standards (Potatoes) Regulations 1977. The definition of "Potatoes" is amended by deleting the words “other than new potatoes, that is to say, potatoes that are harvested before reaching full maturity and whose skin can be easily removed by friction”.
