Abstract

The purpose of this Act is to contribute to the improvement of national health by preventing sanitary dangers and harm caused by food and improving the quality of food nutrition. Definitions of terms used in the Act are listed in Article 2. Any food, etc. falling under any of the subparagraphs of article 4 shall not be sold or collected, manufactured, imported, processed, etc. The Administrator of the Korea Food and Drug Administration shall set criteria and standards of food and food additives
