Abstract

These provisions aim at ensuring food safety and protecting human health by setting out rules concerning the control of temperature of food products. It is hereby stipulated that no person shall keep in any premises, as part of a commercial operation, any food which is likely to support the growth of pathogenic microorganisms or the formation of toxins at a temperature above 8°C. Furthermore the Regulations lay down general guidelines on good hygiene practices.
