The present Regulations enter into force on 1 November 2005.
Abstract

The present Regulations are enacted under section 105 of the Health Protection Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to granting of licences to food establishments. Section 3 rules that the Regulations apply to all food establishment except for those listed therein. The text – consisting of 52 section deals with the following aspects: food establishment permits and inspections, class of permits, application for permit, renewal of permit, non-issuance of permits, suspension or revocation, appeal to Minister about food establishment permit decision, appeal penal, inspection services.
