The Minister may specify the products to which the rules shall apply. The rules shall aim at safeguarding and enhancing the quality of food. The Minister shall establish objective quality criteria for the production and processing of food and may regulate the criteria and procedures for the establishment of commercial activities regarding the production and processing of and trade in food. Rules shall be made with regard to packing and labelling of food. The Minister shall provide for measures of control and enforcement in the framework of this Act and may authorize the Food Quality Agency to take measures in relation with provisions of this Act.
