Abstract This Order amends the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Strangford Lough) Order (Northern Ireland) 1999 which contained emergency prohibitions on various activities in order to prevent human consumption of scallops or food which is derived from scallops originating in waters in Strangford Lough. Those prohibitions now only apply to Queen scallops of the species Aequipecten opercularis.
