It also provides for exemptions from certain labelling requirements and lay down rules for the labelling of, among other things, infant food, raw fruit, vegetables, and fish and frozen food. The Regulations also define "misbranded food", which may also regard geographical origin of such food, and provide for exemption from compliance with the requirements of section 403(i)(2) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (requiring a declaration on the label of the common or usual name of each ingredient when the food is fabricated from two or more ingredients).
